Refund and Return Policy

To start a return or an exchange, please visit our Exchanges and Returns page.

We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of delivery.

What it costs

• Exchanges are free.
• Returns for store credit are free.
• Returns for a refund to your original payment method have a small shipping fee taken out of the refund.
• Shipping and processing fees from your original order are not refundable.

You can exchange for anything

You are not limited to swapping the same item for a different size. You may exchange for any product on our site, so a sold out item never leaves you stuck.

Condition

• Unworn and unwashed. Anything washed cannot be accepted.
• Tags still attached, returned in the original bag.
• Free of stains, deodorant marks, perfume, makeup and pet hair.
• Not a special order or custom order.
• Within 30 calendar days of the delivery date.

Swimwear and intimates

Bikinis, swimwear and our You Want the V shorts may be exchanged or returned. Because these items sit close to the skin, they must be returned unworn, with the hygienic liner intact, in the original packaging. Once the liner has been removed the item cannot be accepted.

Sale and Perfectly Imperfect items

These items are discounted and typically discontinued, so they are not eligible for a refund to your original payment method. They may be exchanged for any product on our site, or returned for store credit.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

If an item is received damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, none of the restrictions above apply. Please contact us immediately at info@violatethedresscode.com with your order number and a photo. These items qualify for a full refund or store credit.

Processing

Refunds are contingent upon inspection of the item once we receive it. Please allow 2 to 3 business days for your return to be processed after it arrives. Refunds then take 3 to 7 business days to appear on your original payment method. We will email you once it is complete.
